So let me begin there ... if you don't know we are expecting baby #5 this winter (mid-November) and we are so excited to have one more (and last) little set of feet running holes in our floors. I have really enjoyed the last few years of being home with my girls and it has been such a blessing and we both felt a strong desire to have one more little one to make our family complete. To answer your next question, NO, we do not know what we're having and, YES, we know it will probably be a girl but we'd still love everyone to keep their fingers crossed and say a prayer for a boy so Zack can have at least one ally in our house because right now the poor guy doesn't stand a chance!
I'll be honest, I am not really sure where to pick up so think I will just go back through this past summer and begin there. We had a very uneventful summer but were able to take one nice long trip to Virginia, DC, and the beach in Delaware and the girls really enjoyed seeing their old friends from preschool and family. That was really about it.
The big girls started school a few weeks ago and this year Sophia is in 1st grade and Annabelle is in Kindergarten. I know everyone says it and cliches are cliches for a reason but I just can not believe how fast the time has gone by! They love school, Sophia loves it a bit more than Annabelle right now but I think it's just a big adjustment for Annabelle because we have all day Kindergarten in NC so she is at school from 7:30-2:45 instead of 9:00-1:00 like preschool.
Outside of school we don't have much going on and we're just counting down for D-Day when the new baby decides to make an appearance. Amelia and StellaGrace are doing awesome! I am doing preschool at home with StellaGrace this year and she's doing great. I'm working on the alphabet, numbers, and right now I'm teaching her how to hold a pencil ... it's a tough job but someone has to do it :) Amelia has decided that she is in charge and runs the crew of Wyatt Girls. She keeps everyone in check and yells at you if you fall out of line ... I'm kidding (sort-of). She is definitely a personality though and does not miss a beat with keeping up with her sisters. I am so in love that little girl I don't know what I'm going to do when this new one arrives on set.
I am going to work on a slide show of photos from the summer and back to school and post that on here soon so everyone can be up to date on the girls.
I worked on the slide show ... here it is ...
