Halloween was less of a success this year.
Annabelle wasn't feeling her best so she stayed in to stay out of the chilly air but Sophia and Stella Grace made it out :) Sophia as Cinderella and Stella Grace as Daisy Duck.
We made it one street over and that's when things began to slowly unravel. The first house on the next street has fog machines, graves, skeletons, and a guy on the front porch that made Sophia a little nervous but she went up with her Aunt Tricia anyway. The next few houses were fine until a pack of boys ran up behind us and Sophia came face to face with a boy in a Scream mask - that freaked her out a bit more. Again, the next few houses were fine. Then we made it to the end of the street where a group of houses all sit out together with a fire pit and give out candy and one of guys in houses came with a chain saw to scare the boys not realizing that we were near ... so that put an end to our trick-or-treating. Sophia just wanted to head home after that. The good thing is that we didn't have a crazy amount of candy that I would have to eat! :)
So ... enjoy the photos.
Princess Minnie and Daisy
Stella Grace kept trying to sneak into Sophia's candy bucket and take some for herself.
We gave them giant glow sticks before we went outside and this is them swinging them around the kitchen.

Stella Grace & the Cupcake!
This is the video of Stella Grace eating her first cupcake and her first experience with processed sugar, I think she is a fan. It's kind of long-just an FYI.
Stella Grace is 1 !!!!
Well it has happened, today actually, the baby of my babies is now 1 and it's a little bittersweet!
This has been the fastest year of my life and I feel like just yesterday we were at the hospital with her.
We had a little party for her on Saturday with our family and a few friends. It was really low key, which was nice since she doesn't really know what's going on anyway. We had dinner and then gave her her first cupcake.
Ha ha! This is what happens to them at the end of a party.

Sophia's Field Trip to Pumpkinville
Sophia's school took their first field trip of the year and we went to .... Pumpkinville!
Pumpkinville is a really cute pumpkin patch area that is set up on a big area of land that has a petting zoo, moon bounces, big slides that go down hills, and lots of large tractors and buses for the kids to climb all over. Sophia made sure that she was able to play a little on everything.
The kids also got to go a big hayride. It went very smoothly until the one of the employees jumped out from behind a cart with a creepy mask on and screamed at the wagon full of 3-4 year olds and from that point on Sophia had alot of questions, mainly 'why did he do that?'
After the hayride the kids all ate snack together and then they turned us all loose to play on our own.
The kiddies on the hayride
The Sheep
The cute little baby deer, what is that a fawn?
a CAMEL!
The other deer that tried to take her cup but she didn't let them :-)
another one trying to eat the whole cup
