4th of July Weekend - Fireworks, Fun, and a Farm

Our 4th of July weekend was alot of fun, it was nice and long and relaxing! I had Friday off from work so I took the girls to to the pool and we played around the neighborhood for most of the day. On Saturday we went out to our friends parents house for a bbq and local fireworks. The fireworks are still not a hit with Sophia BUT we did come up with a solution, well 2 solutions actually. Then on Sunday we went out to The Great Country Farm in Bluemont, VA. It was great and Sophia really enjoyed herself! There was a big lake, petting zoo, slide, playgrounds, orchards to pick fruit, etc. All is all, it was a really nice holiday weekend.

Starting her 4th off right with eggs in her hair ... I guess she really like them!

Then we're off to Brad's parents house in Purcellville, VA. The girls are off to explore in the back yard.

Okay so she does not like the noise of the fireworks AT ALL so what do you do with that ....

Give her giant noise cancelling head phones!!!! It worked :)

OR ... you can put her inside and let her watch the D.C. fireworks on TV.

Baseball, Birthday, and Bramblefest!

June was a fun month! Annabelle turned 1 on the 24th and we had a party for her this weekend with friends and family. Zack and I went to see the Red Sox play the Nationals in DC and we had our neighborhood party with fireworks!
