MONTANA!

We had a really great time on our trip to Montana for Aaron and Caitlin's wedding! I had not been to Montana in about 6 or 7 years so I forgot how really beautiful it is and Zack hasn't been in over 15 years so he really forgot!

These horses quickly became the topic of discussion after they showed up for the photos of the wedding party after the ceremony. We drove down the road to get some shots with the mountains in the back and no one even knew that 12 CLYDESDALE'S were roaming in the field right next to us. It was really incredible!!!
This is a shot of the "downtown" area of Whitefish where my Grandparents live.

The girls did great with the traveling, much to our surprise! Sophia just hung out in her seat for most of the 4 hour flight to Salt Lake City and read the evacuation procedure manual and she had some "quite time" too. The flight home was a bit more of a challenge but nothing too bad.

Sophia was successful in her role as the flower girl. She did not throw any petals while walking down the aisle, she waiting until she was at the alter standing with me. This worked out better for everyone because she just stood quietly at the alter and threw all of the petals out at our feet.

Sophia and I were able to make it to the summit of Big Mountain on our first day and it was really beautiful. She LOVED the gondola ride and is still talking about it. For the first few days we stayed on "site" at the Haymoon Ranch and then for the last few days we stayed at a hotel on the top of the mountain so it was a nice change.

She was really psyched to go up in the gondola but at this moment I think she in rethinking that idea!

Annabelle also did great while traveling. She was not too into hanging out with her new found relatives, she really only wanted Mommy and Daddy so that was a little sad.

The wedding was perfect!!! Caitlin looked stunning and Aaron didn't look so bad himself. It was really great to see our family in Montana and some family friends we had not seen in a while too.

All in all is was a really great vacation and we can't wait to make it back out there!!!

Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy.
